Subdivision is the process of creating two or more lots from one (or more) larger parcels of land. This can be done for a number of reasons, the most common being to facilitate the sale of multiple freshly constructed units.
Over the next week we will explore the broad undertaking of land subdivision to give a better understanding of the process. This is intended as general advice only, if you like to discuss your specific project please contact us during business hours or via email if you prefer.
Subdivision is the process of creating individual titles for land parcels to allow for separate sale. This process can be applied to a vast array of land use situations including shops, units, apartments and industrial buildings. Most subdivisions require a planning permit and all subdivisions will require a Plan of Subdivision signed by a Licensed Surveyor.

WHAT HAPPENS?
What we will require from you:
To begin the process we generally require a copy of title for the property.
Please provide the scope of work required by your designer. Many architects or drafts-people have different requirements and the survey size may alter depending on the amount of information needed for the plan.
What we will do?
We will conduct a survey to satisfy the designer's requirements. Usually completed in one day we will undertake a thorough survey of the subject property, neighbouring dwellings and more.
TIMING?
Allow 10 working days lead time to commence the survey.
The Re-establishment survey is usually completed during this part of the planning stage.
